We no longer use outdated silver/mercury/amalgam filling materials. Due to the controversial effects of mercury, all fillings are now done in a tooth-colored filling by Dr. Roksar.
The white/tooth-colored fillings/restorations are made from a mixture of resin and porcelain. In most cases, tooth sensitivity is eliminated since these white fillings are bonded to the tooth structure.
White fillings don’t just look better, they feel better and last as long as silver fillings.
