Nightguards, Bite Splints, Mouthguards & NTI-tss Plus™

Most people grind and clench their teeth from time to time. Occasional teeth grinding, medically called “bruxism,” usually does not cause harm. When teeth grinding occurs on a regular basis, however, the teeth can be damaged by excessive wear and other complications can arise. It is important that you have your teeth evaluated by Dr. Roksar in order to determine if a night guard is needed.

An alternative to night guards is the  NTI-tss Plusâ„¢; which covers only the front teeth. The  NTI-tss Plus  is a small, clear, “taco shell” shaped appliance. It is custom made and attached to the front four teeth.   The  NTI-tss  protocol is approved for the prevention of medically diagnosed migraine pain and jaw disorders through the reduction of trigeminally innervated muscular activity.

The  NTI-tss Plus is smaller, less bulky, and won’t trigger a gag reflex. Because it is more comfortable, patients actually wear it.
